'collaba' is an international, community-owned music label based in Paris, built outside traditional industry structures. We work closely with independent artists from different scenes and countries, focusing on authentic, non-formulaic music, raw and honest expression and long-term creative development. One of our core formats is our YouTube live streams, where we listen to and review unreleased tracks from emerging artists around the world. These streams are a key part of our ecosystem: we give real-time feedback, highlight standout artists, and introduce them to our audience and community! We are actively looking for unreleased music to feature on these streams, so if you're working on something new — this is one of the best ways to get direct exposure and feedback from us! Beyond that, we support artists through releases, editorial content, and community. This includes digital releases, visual content (artist portraits, interviews, short-form videos), and organic promotion via our social platforms. We share selected music on Instagram and within our curated playlists (including our “collaba picks” playlist with 250+ followers, as well as niche rotating selections and compilations on SoundCloud). Our content is more editorial and storytelling-driven rather than purely promotional — we aim to present artists, not just tracks! For artists we build with, we offer deeper collaboration: official releases via the label, creative direction, content production, and integration into our international artist community — a network where musicians share work, collaborate, and support each other! We are open genre-wise but gravitate toward lo-fi, indie, DIY, underground, raw and experimental sounds! We appreciate strong atmosphere, individuality, and emotional honesty. We are less interested in overly commercial, formula-driven pop or trend-based music. Even rough, imperfect tracks can stand out to us if there is a strong idea or feeling behind them!
