I’m Ohad Nissim, a Grammy-nominated mastering engineer and the owner of Ohad Nissim Mastering. I master, and only master, for artists, producers and labels worldwide, making sure a record holds up on every system, from earbuds to the car to... the club.
What sets me apart: over 4,400 verified credits on Muso.ai, and Muso ranks me in the top 0.1% of mastering engineers. My work includes Chris Brown, XG, Ciara, FLO, Wizkid, Joyner Lucas, Lucky Daye, Big Sean, Ava Max, Polo G and Isaiah Falls, with Gold and multi-Gold certified records along the way. I also master in Dolby Atmos.
My background: I’ve been mastering since 2016, and today I finish over a thousand tracks a year across the US, Latin America, Europe, And Asia. That means I hear every day what competes on streaming right now, in more than one market.
What I’m looking for: hip-hop, R&B, pop, Afrobeats, Latin urban, and K-pop and J-pop. Vocal-led records with a strong identity get my full attention. Moods can be anything from dark and moody to big and bright. Send tracks that are finished or close to it, so the mix and master decisions are what’s left to talk about.
What I’d rather not receive: rough demos or voice memos; AI-generated tracks; songs that are still being written; and genres outside my lane, like metal, classical or country, where another curator will serve you better.
The feedback I give: honest, specific and actionable, like a note from a real mastering session. I’ll cover:
vocal balance and clarity
low end and kick-to-bass relationship
harshness, mud and frequency build-ups
stereo width and mono compatibility
dynamics and punch
loudness, and how the track will stand next to commercial releases on Spotify and Apple Music
If something is holding the record back, I’ll tell you what it is and how to fix it. If it’s ready, I’ll tell you that too, and what would make it stand out.
