I can provide promotion for music in the Roots community - Americana, Alt Country, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Blues, Folk, Zydeco, and World music. I prefer to promote new music and will not promote music over 3 years old. A thirty-year-plus veteran of the music industry, Danny runs the operations for The Alternate Root magazine. From 1979 to 1985 he wrote and developed radio shows, programming and organized the yearly local music event ‘The Rock and Roll Rumble’ for legendary radio station WBCN in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1985, Danny joined Atlantic Records, and handling services for Island and Virgin Records when under the Atlantic umbrella, as promotion manager for the Boston / New England region where he remained until 1990. Moving on to San Francisco in 1990, Danny managed a publicity firm, before starting his own firm in 1996, Next Step Music Management, handling artist management, music supervision, publishing and artist development. Songs With Vision began operating in 2002 focusing on film and television music placement for labels and independent artists and acting as a Music Supervisor for a number of film projects as well as in-house for Hallmark Films. The Alternate Root magazine opened for business in 2011. Danny became CEO for JTMMUSIC in 2019 and began his own label, Doolittle Distro, in 2024. I can review for The Alternate Root magazine, giving them an international platform for promotion. It will be also shared Facebook, X, and Instagram.
