Curated by members of the Silva Lining Band, an award-winning group blending funk, jazz, and rock influences, the playlist reflects our deep love for the genre and commitment to keeping funk alive in the modern era. We know the power of a great groove, and we’re always on the hunt for music that moves—literally and emotionally. We typically place accepted tracks within the first 1–30 positions of the playlist and keep them featured for a month or more, depending on performance and fit. We review all submissions personally and provide thoughtful feedback based on years of performing, producing, and obsessing over this genre.
