We empower independent artists to get their music heard and accelerate their careers globally. Breaking through shouldn’t be a matter of luck, every artist deserves real opportunities.
It started with a simple but frustrating truth: talented artists weren’t getting heard. Emails went unanswered, demos got lost, and opportunities stayed out of reach. So we built Groover—a platform where artists could finally connect with industry pros, get real feedback, and unlock new career opportunities.
3,000+ pros and curators listen to new tracks daily. 600,000+ artists use Groover to share their music, get feedback, and land real opportunities—over 5M pieces of feedback given, 1M+ shares, reviews, and playlist adds, and 1,500+ label signings.
At Groover, we saw how overwhelming the music market had become—with over 120,000 tracks released on Spotify every day, artists often feel like they’re sending music into the void, hoping for a response but rarely getting one. Music is meant to be heard, and we believe artists deserve transparency and support in promoting their work. That’s why we created Groover.
Our journey began when three of us—Romain, Rafaël, and Dorian—met at UC Berkeley, each of us already immersed in the world of music. Romain had is own musical project and small label, experiencing firsthand the frustration of promoting music with no real results. Dorian ran the blog Indeflagration, showcasing artist sessions and feeling the overwhelming flood of emails from artists trying to break through. We knew there had to be a better way.
In 2018, we launched Groover at MaMA Music & Convention and joined Techstars the same year. Back then, our user base was small enough to invite everyone to Dorian’s home! From there, we kept growing and today, Groover is a 35 person team, with offices in New York, Paris, and remote.
Our values shape everything we do—from how we support artists to how we build our team. These principles guide us in making music discovery fair, meaningful, and impactful.
From industry spotlights to artist success stories, Groover has been featured in top music and business publications. Explore our latest press coverage, access our press kit, and reach out for media inquiries.
At Groover, we’re not just a platform, we’re a movement. Join us to help artists, amplify their voices, and create opportunities that make a difference. Ready to shape the future of music together?
