Paperkraft is a DJ and producer from Osaka, Japan, channeling the spirit of 90s and
00s club classics into a sound that feels both nostalgic and future-facing. Fusing
rolling grooves, powerful rhythms, emotional melodies, and a raw experi...mental edge,
he has quickly become one of the most exciting names emerging from Japan’s
underground scene.
Drawing inspiration from the golden era of house, rave, and underground dance
music while pushing toward new territory, Paperkraft has built growing international
momentum through releases, remixes, and support from DJs across clubs, festivals,
and radio worldwide.
In 2025, he released his EP “Somethin’ Nasty” on Big Saldo’s Chunkers, the highly
respected label run by Sally C. With its energetic, chunky grooves and modern rave
attitude, the release drew global attention and further established Paperkraft as a
rising force in contemporary club music.
Driven by instinct, experimentation, and a deep love for dancefloors, Paperkraft
continues to bridge the roots and future of electronic music through hypnotic club
weapons, forward-thinking productions, and a sound built for peak-time moments.
