I’m Naoto, founder and curator of juicymusiclab, an independent music discovery platform based in Japan, reaching 240K+ followers on Instagram. I connect listeners with emerging independent artists from around the world through curated discovery, editorial storytelling, playlists, interviews, and video features. One of my missions is introducing outstanding independent artists to Japanese audiences through translation, cultural context, and meaningful storytelling. I primarily feature indie pop, indie rock, alternative, singer-songwriter, folk, soul, R&B, and genre-blending artists with a strong artistic identity. I value originality, authenticity, emotional connection, and memorable songwriting over trends, algorithms, or viral potential. Selected artists may be featured through: • Instagram posts & Stories • Fresh Drop Friday (weekly new music playlist) • Monthly curated playlists • Editorial features & interviews • Video content • Future live events and community projects I’m always looking for music, and artists with a story worth sharing.
