Grisa (Giovana Ribeiro Santos) is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer, currently based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Former researcher in Musical Acoustics at the Cité de la Musique - Philharmonie de Paris and The Acoustics & Audio Group at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland), mechanical and acoustic engineer, Grisa graduated from the National School of Engineers of Le Mans - Le Mans University. A significant part of her work is related to electronic lutherie (analog and digital) and wild lutherie - the construction of musical instruments from alternative materials and techniques. Grisa is the manager of Canil Recs (Music Studio/Concert Hall/Label based in Minas Gerais, Brazil) and editor of articles and music news at Disconversa (famous Brazilian music blog and website).
