FLAX, born Fritzi Kempter, is a German DJ, music producer, and event manager. Originally trained as a saxophonist, she began her DJ career in 2019 with METAWARE Weimar. Her genre-blending style includes UK bass, experimental breaks, electro, and hip-hop samples. During her musicology studies, she explored „music & well-being“ and „music & gender“ in club culture, shaping her experimental approach. Her music production began with sampling orchestra pieces and evolved into the solo project FLAX. Currently, she is working on her debut album, weaving together her diverse musical experiences. - promoting them at video/radio stations - featuring them in mixes - curating them in playlists - giving feedback on productions
