Shambalia, founded by artists Adam Mur and Elénora, is an independent music media and label based in the Parisian region, with its own cozy recording studio. We specialize in free, collaborative music creation, offering artists unique opportunities to create, record, and promote their work through our innovative “One Song in One Night” and “The Making of a Single” projects. Our mission is to foster creativity, amplify emerging talent, and build a growing community of artists and fans through engaging content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and streaming platforms. We're open to receive music from all genres expect metal and hard rock (for our in studio opportunities) due to lack of necessary equipment. What We Offer As a Label 1. One Song in One Night - Available if you’re staying or intend to stay in the Paris area for a day or more A free, collaborative session where artists compose, write, and record a track in our studio in a single afternoon/evening (6 - 8 hours). A Shambalia producer handles the music production, while the artist crafts lyrics and vocal melodies. At the end of the session, artists receive the final unmixed and unmastered track and stems for further development. The process is filmed for a long-form YouTube video showcasing the creative journey, plus short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) for social media. 2. The Making of a Single - Available if you’re staying or intend to stay in the Paris area for a day or more Multiple free, flexible, collaborative songwriting and recording sessions where artists create a song from scratch with Shambalia’s production and engineering support. Shambalia covers production, recording, and the mixing and mastering costs. The process is filmed for YouTube and social media. 3. The Making of a Single (Remote) - Available for all artists Free, flexible, collaborative songwriting where artists and Shambalia co-create a song remotely via alternating sessions and file sharing. We cover production and the mixing and mastering costs. Artists independently record their vocals. The process can be filmed for YouTube and social media but it is not required. For all of these opportunities, the artist is not obligated to release the song. If the artist wants to release the song, we handle distribution via TuneCore and registration with Performing Rights Organizations (SACEM, BMI, Sound Exchange…), ensuring fair splits with artists receiving 50% of streaming revenue and Shambalia receiving the remaining 50%. Artists will require a TuneCore account for streaming revenue splits. As a Media Outlet 4. Short Video Story - Available for all artists A video-call interview turned into a short-form video (Reel, TikTok, Short) highlighting the artist’s story and latest release. 5. Live Session - Available if you’re staying or intend to stay in the Paris area for a day or more Artists are invited to record and film a live performance of their song in our studio. As a Sound Expert 6. Feedback - Available to all artists We provide constructive feedback on songwriting, vocal performance, and production, tailored to the artist’s goals. Where Content is Posted - Long-form videos are posted on Shambalia’s YouTube channel. - Short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) is shared on Shambalia’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with artists tagged or added as collaborators. - Released tracks are distributed by Shambalia via TuneCore on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, etc., under the artist’s name (primary) and Shambalia (secondary). Impact and Reach Shambalia’s growing community on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and streaming platforms is built on a long-term strategy of consistent content creation and targeted digital advertising. Our collaborative model centralizes artist content on our platforms, driving visibility through cross-promotion. While our reach is expanding, we prioritize quality engagement and authentic connections with our audience, ensuring artists gain exposure to new fans over time.
