Romanian DJ and producer Kozo is a familiar face in the romanian underground, with a career spanning over three decades honing his technical precision and deeply refined sound to an ever-wider audience. Known for his meticulous approach to electronic music, Kozo’s sets are a delicious blend of house, techno, a touch of dub here and there. A key figure in Romania’s electronic landscape, Kozo has shared the booth with some of the scene’s most respected names, and is a regular at the biggest festivals around the country. Beyond his work as a DJ, Kozo is one of the minds behind Intuit FM, a versatile online radio platform he co-founded with Paul Agripa and Dan Andrei. The station reflects their far-reaching musical influences, exploring everything from ambient and leftfield to trip-hop, shoegaze, free jazz, and psychedelia More recently, Kozo has ventured into live performance with his experimental project, Capra Veciunului. Built alongside Paul Agripa and Emi, with vocals by Anna Olar, the project pushes boundaries, delivering a dynamic interplay of electronic textures and atmospheric vocal layers. Kozo continues to evolve as an artist, staying true to his relentless curiosity for music and his drive to push boundaries while remaining deeply connected to the roots of the underground.
