🇫🇷 Version française 🇫🇷 Château Éphémère, lieu dédié à la création sonore et numérique francilien s’associe à nouveau à Groover et pour la première fois à Ableton, pour le lancement de son appel à résidence dédié aux musiques électroniques, From bed productions to stage. Les musiques électroniques dans leur grande diversité présentent aujourd’hui des enjeux indéniables; tant par le nombre croissant de ses auditeur·trice·s, que de ses artistes et producteur·trice·s, signes d’un marché et de pratiques créatives en constante progression depuis plus de 20 ans. Les jeune créateur·trice·s d’aujourd‘hui ont accès à des logiciels et à du matériel qui leur permet de donner vie à leurs idées artistiques en quelques clics, n’importe où, n’importe quand. Paradoxalement, il n’existe pas ou peu de dispositif d’accompagnement de ces artistes émergent·e·s comme professionnel·le·s dédié à l’évolution de leurs usages, alliant échange des savoirs et des savoir-faire, accompagnement à la création, aide à la structuration et à la promotion de ces projets. C’est pourquoi, Château Éphémère propose aujourd’hui un dispositif inédit d’accompagnement résidentiel de la jeune création musicale électronique, afin de répondre et de bousculer certains enjeux créatifs du secteur. 🇬🇧 English version 🇬🇧 Château Éphémère, a place dedicated to sound and digital creation in the Paris region, is once again partnering with Groover and, for the first time, with Ableton for the launch of its call for residencies dedicated to electronic music "From bed productions to stage". Electronic music in its great diversity presents today undeniable stakes; as much by the increasing number of its listeners, as by its artists and producers, signs of a market and creative practices in constant progression for more than 20 years. Today's young creators have access to software and hardware that allows them to bring their artistic ideas to life in a few clicks, anywhere, anytime. Paradoxically, there is little or no support for these emerging artists as professionals dedicated to the evolution of their uses, combining the exchange of knowledge and know-how, support for creation, and help with the structuring and promotion of these projects. This is why Château Éphémère is proposing a new residential support system for young electronic music creation, in order to respond to and shake up some of the sector's creative issues.

🇫🇷 Version française 🇫🇷 Les projets de « musiques électroniques » accueillis pourront mélanger créations propres et samples. Si ces musiques devront être des créations originales, elles devront se situer en dehors du champ de l’art sonore et des musiques expérimentales. En effet, un appel à résidences annuel sur la thématique « Arts numériques, Art sonore et Nouvelles Écritures » existe déjà au Château Éphémère. Le comité de sélection sera particulièrement attentif aux projets incluant la notion de transmédia, notamment appliquée à la scénographie, aux environnements dans lesquels ces musiques sont jouées, ou encore aux interactions avec le public. Les projets peuvent être déposés par un·e artiste, un collectif, une structure de production ou de diffusion. 🇬🇧 English version 🇬🇧 The projects of "electronic music" will be able to mix own creations and samples. If these musics must be original creations, they must be outside the field of sound art and experimental music. Indeed, an annual call for residencies on the theme of "Digital Arts, Sound Art and New Writing" already exists at the Château Éphémère. The selection committee will be particularly attentive to projects that include the notion of transmedia, notably applied to the scenography, to the environments in which these musics are played, or to the interactions with the public. Projects can be submitted by an artist, a collective, a production or distribution structure.

🇫🇷 Version française 🇫🇷 - Chacun des 10 projets lauréats est accueilli pour une durée d’une à deux semaines – selon les besoin du projet et en accord avec l’équipe artistique, pour un accueil en résidence compris entre le mois de janvier 2023 et juillet 2023. - Cet accompagnement inclut la mise à disposition d’un logement, d’espaces de travail pour l’écriture et la composition, la répétition, la fabrication musicale comme scénographique, et le travail scénique, et enfin d’un espace d’enregistrement audio et audiovisuel, adjoint à une grande partie du parc technique du Château Éphémère. - Les porteurs·euses de projets bénéficieront en outre de l’accompagnement de l’équipe artistique du Château Éphémère, d’un régisseur technique son, d’un fabmanager en fonction de leurs disponibilités. - Chaque artiste aura la possibilité d’intégrer la programmation musicale du Château Éphémère lors de son événement public mensuel. - A cela s’ajoute une campagne Groover complète offerte et guidée pour un morceau pour chacun·e des artistes sélectionné·e·s (valeur ≈ 50€). - Un projet lauréat aura la possibilité d’intégrer le programme d’accompagnement sur-mesure Groover Obsessions. - Les lauréat·es participeront à une session de mentorat collective sur la thématique du passage du studio à la scène, avec un ou une Ableton Certified Trainer. - Un·e à plusieurs lauréat.es pourront être programmé.es dans le cadre d’une master class organisée en partenariat avec Neuvième Ruche et Ableton. 🇬🇧 English version 🇬🇧 - Each of the 10 winning projects is hosted for a period of one to two weeks - depending on the needs of the project and in agreement with the artistic team of the project and in agreement with the artistic team, for a residency between the month of January 2023 and July 2023. - This accompaniment includes the provision of accommodation, work spaces for writing and composition, rehearsal, and composition, rehearsal, musical and scenographic production, and stage work, and finally an audio and audiovisual recording space, together with a large part of the technical equipment of the Château Éphémère. - Project leaders will also benefit from the support of the artistic team at Château Éphémère, a technical sound manager, a fabmanager and a video director according to their availability. - Each artist will have the possibility of integrating the musical program of the Château Éphémère during monthly public event. - In addition, a complete Groover campaign will be offered and guided for one track for each of the selected artists (value ≈ 50€). - One winning project will have the opportunity to join the Groover Obsessions coaching program. - The winners will participate in a collective mentoring session on the theme of the transition from studio to stage, with an Ableton Certified Trainer. - One or more of the winners may be scheduled for a master class organized in partnership with Neuvième Ruche and Ableton.
