Shimantini has been working in the music industry for about 8 years. Started her career in an artist management agency and managed a Bollywood musician (Benny Dayal) and an indie funk band (Funktuation), she moved on to music distribution and is an A&R with Believe Artist Services currently wherein she has been planning and executing release campaigns for a bunch of hiphop artists, singer songwriters, and many other pop artists. Also a trained Indian classical dancer (Odissi), Shimantini has a varied taste in music and loves exploring world music.
