About

Bio

Jean-Patrice Rémillard aka Pheek, a native of Montreal, is known for his career as a live electronic musician, his label Archipel and for his audio services engineering studio. He evolves in a subtle amalgam of dub, microhouse and ambient, without ever completely falling into one style or the other. There he cultivates a sound maturity of his own and returns to live improvisation.

I've been a coach and mentor for 20 years, while being an artist myself, label and audio engineer. I worked with many, many artists, seen so many different kind of songs. I can quickly identify issues, understand the potential of a song as I work everyday in my studio, fixing other artists' music. I'll point out strengths and flaws with tips on how to fix it.
