Behind the Blaumachen Festival is a group of music-loving friends who love discovering new music live. We founded the non-profit Blaumachen e. V. in 2022 to make our own contribution to the art and culture scene in our home city of Erfurt (Germany) with the Blaumachen Festival. The festival focuses on newcomers from the indie pop and rock scene. We organise musical events in Erfurt (Germany) with newcomers and offer them a stage and an audience. In addition to severell smaller events, our main project is the Blaumachen Festival, which takes place once a year in July.
