Jeroen Verheij is a pioneering Dutch techno and house producer, active since 1990. Best known as Secret Cinema, he has shaped the sound of European club music for over three decades. His first release as Meng Syndicate ("Sonar System") became a rave classic in 1991. Under the Secret Cinema alias, he released the iconic "Timeless Altitude" (1994), a track that remains a staple in techno sets worldwide. As Grooveyard, Jeroen scored crossover hits like "Mary Go Wild" (1996) and "Let The Music Be Your Guide" (2000), both of which charted in the Netherlands and Belgium. He has collaborated frequently with Michel de Hey and is the founder of Gem Records, supporting new generations of techno talent. Jeroen’s discography spans dozens of aliases and projects, with releases on legendary labels such as EC Records, Music Man, Drumcode, Cocoon, and his own Gem Records.
