I’m Rayben, also known as la #TECHNOMAMI. I’m an artist, producer, DJ, and composer from Iztapalapa, Mexico City. My music lives at the intersection of electronic and urban sounds—a mix that lets me channel energy, chaos, and emotion in a way that feels true to who I am. Over the past four years, I’ve been building my path in the Latin American electronic scene, finding space for my voice and exploring sound without being limited by genres. Artists like Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Skrillex, and Arca have been big influences for me—not just in terms of their music, but in how they own their identity and speak through their art. That’s something I try to carry into every track I create. For me, music is a form of freedom. It’s where I say what I need to say, and hopefully give others permission to do the same. I also care deeply about how the music is presented—my visuals, aesthetic, and style are all extensions of that message: honest, expressive, and sometimes a little unconventional. When I released “RUTA TECHNOMAMI”, I didn’t expect it to reach as far as it did—but it resonated, and that’s been one of the most meaningful parts of this journey. It helped me reach 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and opened doors I’m incredibly grateful for. In 2024, I became the first Mexican woman to perform on the Main Stage of EDC Las Vegas. It’s something I’m proud of—not just for myself, but for what it might mean for others coming up behind me. I’ve also had the chance to perform at major festivals in Mexico and the U.S., including EDC México, Tecate Pal Norte, Tecate Emblema, Tecate Sonoro, and Electric Forest in Michigan.
