Founded in 2023 within the DIY and college show circuit of South Jersey, we’ve grown into a trusted voice across the NY/NJ metro independent music ecosystem. What We Offer: Weekly Feature Articles: Published every weekend on lucidmedia.blog, each article dives into an artist’s story, songcraft, or performance style. We write interviews, reviews, how-to articles, industry insights, and spotlights that help artists build visibility and connect with fans. Platform Reach: We reach hundreds of monthly readers via our blog and thousands more through syndication on Instagram, YouTube, and Spotify. Our blog is optimized for search and discovery, and our playlists often include tracks from featured artists to increase streaming traction. Syndication & Partnerships: We collaborate with larger outlets like WeAreNJEntMag, Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation, and other local and national outlets, expanding our artists’ exposure to diverse and engaged audiences. Music We Look For: Genres: Indie, alternative, hip-hop, jazz, R&B, soul, lo-fi, pop, experimental, and genre-fluid work. Moods/Characteristics: Honest lyrics, strong emotional tone, vulnerability, inventive production, boundary-pushing energy, and cultural impact. Dislikes/Restrictions: We typically avoid overtly commercial pop, violent/graphic lyrical content with no artistic justification, and heavily AI-generated work that lacks a human touch. How We Work with Artists: We write about the industry once a week and curate new music monthly through theme-based Spotify playlists. We also spotlight artists in written interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and live show recaps.
