Hi, I’m Marco Quiñones, creator of Dropi. I started the project back in 2022 as a simple page where I shared lyrics from my favorite songs. Over time, it began gaining recognition within the Mexican rock and metal scene, eventually becoming one of the most visited music spaces in the community. What began as a small hobby has evolved into a music blog and community, where listeners can discover both their favorite bands and emerging artists, all in one place. Dropi has been shared by international bands like Bad Omens in their latest releases, as well as by well-known Mexican acts such as Allison and Ladrones, among others. I’ve also had the chance to collaborate with record labels and music marketing agencies, including Epitaph Records, promoting artists such as Sleep Theory, Nevertel, and Joyce Manor. I’ve also worked with campaigns for artists like YUNGBLUD, Jutes, and I Prevail. Today, Dropi has grown into a community of over half a million followers across all platforms, including more than 450K on TikTok alone. In parallel, I host a live radio-style show on TikTok, where I react with my audience to both classic songs and new releases, giving exposure to upcoming independent artists whenever possible. My goal is to help artists create real visibility on social media, connect with new audiences, and spark genuine interest in their music—regardless of genre. ✨ I look forward to working with you and helping your music reach new listeners.
