Ad Hoc Records exists to celebrate music, not genres. With ever-broadening sonic horizons, ours is a home for music with soul. Ad Hoc Records' was established in 2017 with a mission to showcase the most exciting producers and DJs its founder Dave Burch discovered to an international audience. In its first five years, music from the label has been stocked in record stores as far afield as Japan and Australia, featured on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists and spun on the likes of BBC Radio 1/1Xtra/6 Music, NTS and Worldwide FM. The label has a monthly radio show on Reform Radio, and during lockdown hosted a showcase on the 'United We Stream' platform. As well as promoting parties in Manchester institutions Hidden, Night & Day and YES, they've also hosted label events in venues such as corner shops and canal boats. Having recently set up a management arm, the artists Ad Hoc represents have released on labels such as Majestic Casual, stacked up millions of plays on streaming platforms and performed at sold out gigs at venues such as Gorilla and a forthcoming showcase event at Manchester International Festival distribution to streaming platforms, radio and playlist plugging, content creation, mentoring
