« What is Hip Radio ?! » : A musical thematic radio. Our main goal is to offer new artists and music enthusiasts a voice. Whether you're a digger, a producer, a musician. We're longing to discover your perception of the world and your musical universe! What is Hip Radio was born in 2015, out of François Legrain's mind, a trumpeter and producer, obviously passionate about music. Thanks to this interest, a seed is planted: it's becoming necessary to have a place for sharing, discovering others to feed this growing curiosity. He then challenges himself to take care of this project, and he's fully determind to make it bloom. While listening to «What is Hip» by the group «Tower of Power», he proceeds to name his show after the hit. He then creates more than 150 shows, starting from Radio Vibration to Radio Campus. He forges his experience while meeting those who will help him realize his dreams. A few years later, «What is Hip Radio» settles down at 269 rue des Alliés in Forest, with a team more inspired and motivated than ever.
