Before submitting music, please make sure to check out which genres of music we prefer and also browse our latest track reviews to see what we've recently covered. We very rarely post: songs over 5 minutes songs with a lot of autotune songs that could be described as "folk," "indie folk," "singer/songwriter," "Americana," or "acoustic." songs that could be described as "Contemporary R&B" or "alternative/indie R&B." songs that could be described as "Chillstep" or "Trap" songs that could be described as "cloud hop / emo hip hop." This doesn't mean that we have never posted songs that could fit into these genres but I find myself writing "this is too folky" or "this is too R&B for my tastes" quite a lot. Save your money and save my time. We NEVER post: song with misogynistic/sexist/homophobic/racist lyrics. We ONLY post songs via Soundcloud or Bandcamp. NO SPOTIFY. NO YOUTUBE. We say that in our short bio, but still get a decent amount of submission where people are surprised when we refuse to embed their Spotify or video. If we accept your submission and then you can not supply us with a Soundcloud or Bandcamp link, we will not refund your money. We require an artist bio and social link to be included with the song submission. We don't care about how many followers you have, it is just makes it easier to seek out information so we can create the best write-up about your track as possible. If we missed your song the first time around and it expired, please send it over again! We do our best to respond within 48 hours but sometimes we'll not have the time to get back to you within the limit.
