Song Per Day (SPD) is a blog and podcast on a mission to introduce people to new music from any genre. SPD is run by two musical experts, Ben and Julia. SPD originated in 2020 during the first Covid lockdown when Ben started the project. The concept was straightforward: share a daily song recommendation from any genre. Emphasizing that one song is not a big commitment, the belief is that a single song can make a positive impact on your day. Fast forward to 2022, Julia joined the team to launch the SPD Podcast. In addition to the daily song recommendations, Julia and Ben now release a weekly podcast episode featuring song recommendations accompanied by insights and enjoyable banter. SPD operates a music recommendation blog and website. Songs featured on the blog are included in our Spotify playlists and shared with our list of subscribers. Additionally, we host a weekly podcast where we showcase music from renowned bands and emerging artists alike. We relish the chance to interview new artists and introduce their music to a broader audience! After we conduct an interview we share your music and content from the interview on all our social media channels.
