Corey “CL” Llewellyn is a seasoned music magnate with more than a dozen years experience as a leader in promotion and marketing within the music industry. Named as one of Black Enterprise’s 40 under 40, his entrepreneurial creativity and love of music have generated some of today’s most innovative efforts to honor hip-hop’s core elements while incorporating ever-evolving technology. He is the President of Digiwaxx Media which is a industry leading music marketing agency, DJ promotion platform and distribtuion company. CL’s extensive resume includes directorial positions at numerous major recording labels and reveals the go-getter attitude that propelled him into the music business at the young age of 17. His accomplishments include Sr. National Director of Rap Promotion (Elektra Records/Warner Music Group), Director of A&R (Crave Records/Sony Music), VP of Promotions (Cornerstone Promotion), Associate Editor (Fader Magazine), Co-Founder of Cornerstone’s 1200 Squad, and The Cornerstone Mixtape series. In addition to these accomplishments CL is also the Co-manager, Co- Executive Producer and business partner for American King Music/Universal Music Group which Platinum Recording Artist MIMS is signed to.
