Do you have unfinished demos? Do you need help with mixing, mastering and production? We are a small boutique label focused on production and artist development. We work with small upcoming artists to assist with Production, Mixing, Mastering, Distribution and a small amount of Marketing. Traditional record labels are driven by a singular motivating factor - money. Some artists still have a belief that one day someone will come along and pluck them up and make them famous. Unfortunately that is not the case for the majority of the music industry. If you look at the business models for a profitable record label, most are only able to take on artists that either A) are already earning thousands of dollars living off their art independently with a large catalog of material and a proven track record, or B) have developed a huge viral fan base on social media. With this being the case it means independent artists have really only one option to move forward - to keep working to build up their status independently. Being an independent musician isn’t easy. You have to pay producers for exclusive licenses, you have to pay mix engineers and mastering engineers and you have to pay for distribution and marketing etc etc all while having to maintain a day job to pay the rent. That's where we come in. Our model is more similar to a non-profit or a charity. We don’t have huge amounts of overheads. We don’t have large teams of overpaid admin staff sitting around in comfy leather chairs sipping oat lattes. We have a small core team of dedicated music lovers powered by a Utopian vision to build the most equitable and sustainable model for artist growth and development. Our model enables artists to create music without having upfront costs. Work with our renowned in house producers and mix engineers. 50% of streaming royalties go to the artist, and 50% go to the label. All the revenue from the label goes directly back into marketing for the roster. It’s the perfect model because it means that when any of our artists blow up, everyone on the roster benefits. Artists are not locked into exclusive contracts, artists are free to come and go as they please. Any of the work you do with us will benefit from our publishing partnership with Universal Music Brazil and from our sync partnerships too. If you’re looking for a big fancy label to drop tens of thousands of dollars on marketing your songs, maybe try another label, but feel free to reach out and say hi, we love meeting new artists. If you are interesting in becoming one of our label affiliated producers, if you would like to work together with our artists and mix engineers, if you have beats that are not on Beatstars and are available exclusively, feel free to get in touch. We have developed a truly fair and sustainable model based on a love for music, not on capitalism. Our producers benefit from an equal split on back-end royalties. If your track gets placed with an artist, then you will have the opportunity to earn monthly royalty statements. You are free to remove any unused beats that haven’t been placed with artists from the catalog at any time. We are currently signing artists in the following genres: Pop (all varieties) 80’s inspired Synth Pop Fun Summer time tunes / Electronic (Vocal) Moody Electro Pop and EDM (Vocal) Conscious Hip Hop All of the music we release is vocal music, we don’t release instrumental tracks. Since music is the expression of the human Soul, we don’t do anything related to AI. Rough demos are fine Understand that what we do takes a lot of work and we can only commit to taking on a limited amount of artists. There’s simply only so many hours in a day. Understand if we don’t pick you up this time around, it’s not because you are not awesome at what you do, but we can only accept a small portion of submissions. Please know that signing with us doesn’t mean you’ve automatically made it. Now the work begins. Your success is relative to your marketing efforts.
