I am a music writer/radio presenter currently based in the North East of England. I started out writing on Instagram @Pipjr3927 which lead to joining the Philadelphia based music journalism collective BLIGATORY and setting up my own website Pipjr3927.com. I write album/EP/project reviews that explore the feelings/emotions that I process while listening to them, and of course write bit about the music also. I host Unknown Pleasures which airs on Sunderland University's radio station SPARK Sunderland. The show goes out every Monday at 7pm at this moment in time - I have hosted Unknown Pleasures since October of 2022. It's possible that I can play your music on my radio show if it fits in, quality-wise, with the standards of the show! It could also be included in a monthly roundup that I call 'Some New Sounds' that I post to my Instagram account - provided it fits the timing of the month's post. I will create a Spotify playlist to house the best of the best that I receive on here. I'm not necessarily looking for "popular" music. The music can be as wonky, left-leaning and off-kiltered as you like, within reason. What I look for is tasteful intent; pieces which have been made with a love for the craft of making song and sound. In addition to reviews/writeups, I post monthly roundups of new releases on my Instagram page as well as album anniversaries that I find to be worthy of knowing about. All of my socials are @Pipjr3927
