🇬🇧 ACOUSTIC ARTISTS/BANDS - UK-BASED OR PLANNING TO TOUR THE UK 🇬🇧 UNSPUN SESSIONS is a unique discovery monthly showcase hosted by Success Express Music. Five talented artists share the stage, three of which have to be brand new, a mix of debuts, touring artists and special guests. Hosted at intimate speakeasy style venue Piano Smithfield, located by The Barbican, London, its grown in popularity with artists and audiences alike. No many venues can boast a superb Yamaha grand piano onstage, nor match their enviable speakeasy, cellar vibe perfect for artist discovery. 🎹 🎙️ 2 artists will be selected: one to play on 14 June 2024 and one on 27 June 2024. Requisitos de inscripción

- Applications invited for acoustic artists or acoustic bands. - NOT OPEN TO ROCK BANDS/FULL BANDS. - Open to UK-based artists/bands or with the ability to travel to the UK in June. - Genres accepted: Alt-Folk, Country Americana, Indie Pop, Indie Rock, Indie Jazz, Soul/RnB. - Ideally with mostly lyrics in English. - Each artist will perform a 25 mins set. - A grand piano and full backline is available for use together with monitoring and an in-house sound engineer.

Calendario

- Applications are open from April 3 to April 28th, 2024. - One artist will play on 14 June 2024 and one on 27 June 2024. 👉 IMPORTANT TO NOTE: In accordance with MU Guidelines for Fair Pay, Fair Play and Association of Independent Promoters Kitemark, we aim to be transparent and fair as an independent promoter. For this event, tickets are on sale at £11 plus booking fee, and artists will be paid £5.50 for each ticket sold by the artist. We can also provide a discount code which will provide for a £5.50/£3.50 split - reducing the price by £2 to £9 for guests.
