I spent years as a composer, touring and recording member of La Vida Bohème, a Venezuelan rock band that picked up two Latin Grammys along the way (Best Rock Album for our record "Será," and a second win in 2014 for the animated short film "Flamingo"). Our debut album "Nuestra" also earned a nomination for Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album at the Grammys. We've played Austin City Limits, SXSW, Vive Latino, Estéreo Picnic and stages across several continents, released more than 50 songs with millions of plays across platforms, and were named one of Billboard's 50 Best Latin Rock Bands of All Time. That's the ear I bring to feedback: records that had to hold up in a studio and on a festival stage before anyone outside the room heard them. I focus on rock, indie, alternative and Latin. I'll tell you straight whether the production is actually serving the song, where the mix or arrangement is working against it, and what I'd change first if it were my own track. I'm also DJing regularly in Berlin these days, also producing electronic music, which keeps me honest about how a mix actually holds up on a real soundsystem.
