Tropical Punk Records: An independent Colombian record label with over 20 years of history
The music business requires many factors to achieve success. Two of the most important are the ability to perform and compose. While these are fundamental, independent artists must also focus on other aspects like branding, marketing, fan development, and digital marketing.
Tropical Punk Records understands this reality. It's the evolution of the traditional record label, adapted to the current industry and focused on allowing independent artists to focus on performance and composition while receiving support and guidance for other activities.
Founded in 2000 by Mauricio Gómez, Carolina Roatta, and Andrés Vargas with the release of the compilation Neo Travel Kit, Tropical Punk Records has a rich history in the Colombian music scene. Daniel Falquez joined the label in 2003, further strengthening its team.
The label primarily focuses on punk, ska, and hardcore but is open to other genres. Its catalog features artists from all over the country, encompassing emerging and established bands.
