This Is The Scene is a blog created to celebrate the music scene in all its forms. We were founded in December 2024 with a clear mission: to build an engaging and honest space that supports emerging artists from Mexico and around the world. We believe that every musical project has something unique to contribute. Through their influences, their vision, and their own folklore, emerging musicians show us sounds that break the routine and reveal new ways of feeling. In music—as in life—no two minds are alike, and that's exactly what we're passionate about sharing. This journey began in 2023 (on Instagram, although we previously worked with our website) with great enthusiasm and a huge admiration for the independent world. We are deeply grateful to the artists who have sent us their music, and also to those who write to us every day looking for a new recommendation. This blog is for you: for those who aren't afraid to step outside the box and dive into new, raw, honest, and brilliant scenes. We focus on rock in general, although we are also lovers of Pop and its derivatives. We look for energetic themes, with immersive stereo environments, voices with high and explosive tones. We are not very fond of slow music. We have a passionate and professional team within the music scene. This project not only seeks to showcase the music scene but also to bring together the best event organizers, promoters, and content creators who represent our music scene.
