Established in 2019, and founded on two decades of experience in the South African entertainment industry, The Good Times Co is a modern management, bookings, label services and event concept agency that seeks to pioneer a way for its eclectic heritage in Europe. At its core, The Good Times Co fosters a culture of collaboration that not only guides its vision of offering African talent a gateway to Europe, but also informs its passion to provide European events, festivals and venues with the opportunity to work with exciting and globally relevant music from the continent. The Good Times Co founder, Blaise Janichon elaborates “Hosting events, guiding career and generating opportunity for artists to expand their reach into Europe feels like a very natural and exciting progression from my roots in Cape Town”. Already with a profound reputation as a respected thought-leader in the South African industry, Janichon has produced, curated and delivered more than 1500 unique and memorable Good Times. Backed by a vast list of accolades which include: the management of Cape Town’s premier entertainment venue The Assembly; founding the bespoke music agency Your Friends (Vans Music Night, The Tallest Man On Earth, Knysna Rocks Musical Festival); Operations Director of Seed Experiences; Head of Entertainment for international festival Rocking the Daisies; and consulting as a production lead on numerous international and a local music endeavours.
