TBAIMS was the acronym for The Big Apple Indie Music Series which is then became The Best Artist Indie Music Series. We provided a platform of venues for new up and coming independent music artists to perform live to introduce their original music so that they can organically grow their fanbase. We chose our artists based on their stage presence, how well they engage their audience, the ability to sing on key without the use of apps like auto-tune and originality of material. Once an artist is accepted and invited to perform at one of our showcases, they became part of our family so that we can contact them whenever we learned of future gig opportunities that came our way. We can refer artists to artist development agencies and vocal coaches provided they are willing to invest in themselves and are coachable. Currently, we only advise and refer artists to industry people or resources we have remained connected to.
