I started my journey in 2003 as a drummer, playing in some Rock and Hardcore bands. It was a defining moment in my life and since then I have had an intense and perduring passion for music. In 2005 I formed a band with school friends and started playing the guitar as my main instrument. We recorded our first original work and some reinterpretations of rock classics such as Mutantes, Beatles and Rolling Stones in the studio. We recorded 2 EPs, I don't remember their names, and played a lot of shows. In 2010 I lived in Santa Barbara, CA. They say that living abroad makes you somehow start to understand the cultural origins of where you were born, and it was no different for me. I listened a lot to Jobim, Vinicius, Caymmi… Back in Brazil in 2011, I formed the band Carmonitz. A power trio that mixed Brazilian sounds with rock. We recorded the album A Mola Torta do Dizer released in 2012 and the EP Velho Amigo 2013. In 2014 I invited engineer Rodrigo Carraro, who had worked on the album “Haih or Amotercedor…” by Mutantes, to produce 10 songs from my first solo work. We recorded it live at Estudio185 after a few months of rehearsals, O Bom e Velho. It was a very '70s recording experience. In 2015 I opened Tannus Estúdio, initially to be a place for the creation and composition of my solo work and I ended up falling in love with producing and passing on the experience I had in the studio over the years. I’d love to hear your music and help you find your unique sound. ———————- Comecei minha jornada em 2003 como baterista, tocando em algumas bandas de Rock e Hardcore. Foi um momento marcante na minha vida e nunca mais larguei essa paixão que é a música.   Em 2005 formei uma banda com amigos de escola e passei a tocar guitarra como instrumento principal. Gravamos nosso primeiro trabalho autoral e algumas releituras de clássicos do rock como Mutantes, Beatles e Rolling Stones em estúdio. Gravamos 2 EPs, que não lembro o nome, e fizemos muitos shows.   Em 2010 morei em Santa Barbara, CA. Dizem que morar fora do país te faz de alguma forma começar a entender as origens culturais de onde você nasceu, e não foi diferente comigo. Ouvi muito Jobim, Vinicius, Caymmi…   De volta ao Brasil em 2011, formei a banda Carmonitz. Um power trio que misturava sons brasileiros com rock. Gravamos o álbum A Mola Torta do Dizer lançado em 2012 e o EP Velho Amigo 2013.   Em 2014 convidei o engenheiro Rodrigo Carraro, que havia trabalhado no álbum “Haih or Amotercedor…” dos Mutantes, para produzirmos 10 músicas do meu primeiro trabalho solo. Gravamos ao vivo no Estudio185 depois de alguns meses de ensaios, O Bom e Velho. Foi uma experiencia de gravação bem anos 70.   Em 2015 abri o Tannus Estúdio, inicialmente para ser um lugar de criação e composição do meu trabalho solo e acabei me apaixonando por produzir e passar a experiência que tive em estúdio ao longo dos anos.
