Bio

Hello! My name is Anjolie Towle. I am a music journalist and radio host with a couple different platforms that can broaden artists’ reach. Samples of my written work can be found at smallprintbands.com. First and foremost, I am the Promotions/Social Media Director for Radio DePaul, affiliated with DePaul University in Chicago. The station recently won best station in the nation in 2020 at the IBS Awards and was a finalist in 2023! With a wide variety of shows, it focuses on amplifying unheard voices of all genres. Perfect for expanding to college or Chicago-based audiences. Secondly, I have a radio show and music publication called Small Print Bands, affiliated with Radio DePaul. Small Print Bands focuses on uplifting independent musicians, encouraging creative autonomy, and creating an inclusive platform for musicians to authentically connect with their audiences. It highlights the creative space between DIY culture and professionalism. I can work with artists on either platform depending on preference. Interviews I can conduct interviews and publish articles with Groover artists approximately 1x a month. Radio Airplay I can play your songs on a variety of radio shows at DePaul and in Chicago. I can guarantee at least 3 spins on-air for each request. Radio DePaul has an audience of 1,000 listeners daily. Social Media I can make infinite "story" posts and 1 permanent Instagram/Twitter post per Groover artist. Whether it's for an interview, a new release, or new merchandise. As the Promotions and Social Media Director at Radio DePaul, I can connect artists with a huge college audience in Chicago. By distributing your music across numerous shows at the station and highlighting them on social media, I can make an impact on their growth. As a radio host and music journalist for Small Print Bands, I can further push your music out by interviewing/publishing articles and utilizing Small Print Bands’ social media.
