I'm Galestian – an LA-born, Berlin-based electronic music artist and radio host with over 20 years in the industry. I curate Global Entry Radio, a monthly radio show and podcast syndicated to over 40 stations worldwide, including Mambo Radio 89.4 FM in Ibiza, and streaming on platforms like SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. For Global Entry Radio, we don’t repeat tracks once aired, and the show goes out once a month, so I aim for music that stands out and fits the storytelling, emotional, and sonic arc of a full hour mix. Artists featured receive direct exposure to a global audience and tastemakers. Releases on our label, Global Entry Recordings, have received support from major names like Nora En Pure, Tiësto, Nicole Moudaber, and Paul Oakenfold, among others. ABOUT ME: Galestian is an LA-born and Berlin-based electronic music artist, whose releases have been supported by a wide range of international tastemakers including Nora En Pure, Nicole Moudaber, Joris Voorn, Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, Benny Benassi, Markus Schulz, Claptone, Gabriel & Dresden, Green Velvet, Paul Van Dyk, Kryder, Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Tinlicker, Eelke Kleijn and many others. His diverse production repertoire includes collaborations with GRAMMY-nominated mainstays Paul Oakenfold and Capital Cities’ frontman Sebu, to drivers of the international progressive house and techno scenes such as Darin Epsilon, and remixes of his work by Olivier Giacomotto, Fur Coat, Matan Caspi, and Alex O’Rion. He has been commissioned for remixes by the likes of 2x Platinum recording artist VASSY as well as underground namesakes such as Airwave. His "Galestian Remixed" compilation topped Beatport's Top 10 release charts across 3 categories and also broke into the Overall Beatport Top 100. Galestian's professional life in music began on public radio station KUCI 88.9 FM in 2003, where he hosted a weekly radio show for nearly a decade. His guests included prominent artists such as Carl Cox, Dubfire, Above & Beyond, and Armin van Buuren. Today, his monthly Global Entry Radio show is syndicated worldwide on over 50 outlets including Mambo Radio 89.4 FM in Ibiza and di.fm. In 2017, Galestian signed to Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto Black imprint and was featured as a guest on his Planet Perfecto Radio show (episode 383), reaching over 27 million listeners in 70 countries. In 2019, the two collaborated on a track called “Summer Nights”, celebrating Perfecto Black’s 50th release, which was featured in publications such as Dancing Astronaut and DJ Mag Latin America. In 2021, Galestian launched his own imprint, Global Entry Recordings, with the release of "Hindsight," featuring Sebu from the indie pop band Capital Cities. This was followed by the 2022 release of "One," featuring Denitia which garnered support on radio stations such as KISS FM UK. Notably, his fifth release on the label, "We'll Learn To Fly," secured a coveted spot on Spotify's prestigious editorial playlist, "Electronic Rising," a testament to his enduring influence and relevance. In 2022, Galestian became a voting member of The Recording Academy for the GRAMMY Awards. Gallivanting from North America, Europe, and Asia through iconic places such as Nevada's Burning Man to Sankeys Tokyo, Exchange LA and Germany's renowned music festivals, his love for music is as unstoppable as his love for travel – with over 40 stamps collected in his passport to date. His distinctive music style remains difficult to pin down, covering a wide spectrum of melody-infused genres like deep and progressive house, melodic techno, and beyond.
