Bio and how they support artists

We are DeepMatter Records, an independent label from London, founded in 2017 and driven by a passion for jazz and the sounds that orbit it: soul, hip-hop, and groove-rich music from around the world. We champion bright, forward-thinking artists shaping the future of these scenes. Our roster includes projects from The Offline, Ria Moran, Myele Manzanza, Jerk, Quinn Oulton, Don Glori, SHOLTO, Abhi The Nomad, Paul Grant, Jr. Thomas, vbnd, and more. We are a growing community of musicians pushing what modern jazz and soul can be. We also run sister imprint Root Records, exploring experimental, instrumental and electronic edges of the spectrum. And through DeepMatter Music Group, we support our artists across labels, new ventures and publishing via Matters of Note Publishing in partnership with Secretly Publishing. Via Groover, we are in search of Jazz, Soul & Hip-Hop that fits both of our labels, our playlists and that we can also include in our monthly radio show on Soho Radio, London. We prioritise instrumentation over anything and will not support any AI music. Through our various playlists we are looking for; Happy & Feel-Good. Instrumental and Groove-Driven music. And all the above genres. And most importantly, music that connects and makes us feel.
