Bio
My music has been licensed in the trailers of many Hollywood movies, including "Fantastic Four", "Minions", "Black Panther", "Peaky Blinders", "The Northman", "My Cousin Rachel", "Split", "The Dark Tower", "Godless", "Acrimony", and "Fahrenheit 11/9".
My compositions also appear in many movies, including Michael Moore's "Where To Invade Next" and "Fahrenheit 11/9", and Gabriele Muccino's "Remember Me, My Love".
For the last 17 years I've been the in-house composer in one of Italy's biggest radio stations, RDS (over 4 million daily listeners). I have recorded several albums of production music and sound design, for labels like BMG Italy, Raitrade, Hi-Finesse, Flipper, Alibi Music, and also for Selectracks, the BMG production music label based in Los Angeles. I have written the music for many tv spots, including the one for the groundbreaking 2001 "Findus That's Amore" McCann-Ericksonn tv campaign.
in 2018 I was chosen by Lacuna Coil's singer Cristina Scabbia to be her vice-coach in that year's edition of the TV talent show The Voice of Italy.
I have produced all 6 albums released so far by BELLADONNA, the band that I co-founded with singer/songwriter Luana Caraffa defined by Rolling Stone as "one of Italy's most amazing acts", and of our singles "Let There Be Light" written and recorded with legendary Oscar-winning British composer Michael Nyman, and "Nothing Shines Unless It Burns", made in collaboration with theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli.
I am professor of "Theory and Technique of the Soundtrack" at LUISS Business School in Rome, Italy.
