Bio and how they support artists

Eu sou Flávia Ellen, cantora, compositora e produtora cultural. Junto com outras mulheres, fundei o Sonora - Festival Internacional de Compositoras, maior festival do gênero no mundo, presente em 74 cidades e 16 países. Sou também co-fundadora do Coletivo Mulheres Criando, criado em 2016 para promover a mulher na música. Nós fundamos o Sonora e, atualmente, realizamos o Sonora em Belo Horizonte, além de saraus e outras iniciativas. I'm Flávia Ellen, singer, songwriter and cultural producer. Along with other women, I founded Sonora - Internacional Women Songwriters Festival, the largest festival of its kind in the world, present in 74 cities and 16 countries. I am also co-founder of Women Creating Collective, created in 2016 to promote women in music. We founded Sonora and currently hold Sonora in Belo Horizonte, in addition to soirees and other initiatives. (P.s.: I wrote that I'm a booker, because didn't have anything related to curating, but I don't sell shows, I just curate events of my collective and partners) - Feedback - Organize an event - Share on social networks - Networking (be in contact with you for present or future plans in my events). I'm one of the curators of Coletivo Mulheres Criando's projects and I'm always looking for women composers for our projects. I have a good relationship with the founder of the Savassi Festival (a festival focused on instrumental music and jazz in Belo Horizonte), which I've curated with Coletivo. The help I can offer artists is to give honest feedback about the work within my perceptions of the market and, if you're a woman, include you on our radar for future opportunities in our projects and connecting you with other "Sonoras" throughout Brazil.
