Bobbi Giel

Sound Expert

Hi there! My name is Bobbi, and I am the Head Mastering Engineer at Welcome to 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee, a multifaceted, analog-centric recording studio that also provides digital and vinyl mastering services. My mastering credits include a wide range of artists such as Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Paramore, Kehlani, Tinashe, Zac Brown Band, William Duvall from Alice in Chains, Maggie Rose, and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown. In addition to mastering, I am a member of the Audio Engineering Society and the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy. I have always enjoyed getting to know other music industry professionals and providing feedback to independent artists of all genres to help improve their projects for mixing and mastering. I will provide technical feedback on an artist's track to help improve and/or enhance their mix/master so it resonates with consumers across any listening platform.
