Carita Miller has been deep in the roots of music from the early stages of her life to the present. She wears several industry hats from Music Supervisor to A&R Rep for Groove-Ment Records/Blk Night Music and Artist Manager for several acts, Music Editor for Beautiful Machine Magazine, Head of Music Video Placements for MuuzicTyme Video Streaming Service & EVP of MuuzicTyme Distro Services. Her industry life started as a young dancer on a local Detroit TV show & appearances in several Radio/TV commercials. Carita knew at a young age that she was gifted with the “golden ear” when she introduced the R&B group H-Town to their first national TV appearance on BET. Montez Miller, her mother, worked at BET as Producer of two of the networks major shows and she produced several of their promo commercials! Carita has served as assistant to Promotions Manager, Lisa Coleman at Arista Records and interned at one of Detroit’s top urban radio stations, WJLB, as the Producer of the mid-day Kris Kelley show.

Carita Miller's remarkable journey in the music industry began in her formative years and continues to flourish as she takes on multiple roles with passion and dedication. Her career stands as a testament to her unwavering love for music. Currently, Carita thrives as a self-employed Independent Music Supervisor and serves as an A&R Representative at Groove-Ment Records/Blk Night Music. Additionally, she adeptly manages a podcast, multiple artists, and holds the esteemed title of Music Editor at Beautiful Machine Magazine. Notably, she is gearing up to lead the music department at Mainstreem Media, showcasing her exceptional leadership skills and industry expertise.
Her early immersion in the entertainment world started as a young dancer on a Detroit TV show, paving the way for her performances on television, radio, and in commercials. During this period, Carita's keen eye for musical talent shone through, leading her to introduce the R&B group H-Town to their first national TV debut on BET. Growing up in an environment enriched with industry insights, Carita drew inspiration from her mother, Montez Miller, a producer at BET, fostering and honing her talents from a young age. She developed her talents even more working as Lisa Coleman's promotions manager's assistant at Arista Records and as an intern at WJLB, Detroit's premier urban radio station.
Carita is the epitome of a traditional role model, juggling her work and her responsibilities as a single mother. Carita is committed to her education, which reflects her desire to become an expert in her field. She holds a degree in video production from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and is presently enrolled in her second year of a music business program at Berklee College of Music Online, where she is proudly maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
Carita has worked as a music supervisor for many movies, such as "Black Strait Blues," "Corruption," and most recently "Justice," where she brought scenes to life and holding down the nickname "The Lady with the Golden Ear." Her understanding of the narrative that each production aims to tell, coupled with her passion for what she does, enables her to select excellent music that elevates the whole experience.

As a professional Music Supervisor, She knows that being passionate about her work has helped her advance and succeed in this competitive field.
