Jessica is a Fall 2017 graduate of the Editing, Writing, and Media program at Florida State University. She wasted no time after getting her bachelor's degree and launched her own digital media brand, Mic Drop Music in January of 2018. What started as a solo post-grad project has evolved into an international creative collective. In the 4+ years since its inception, Jessica expanded her staff to 30 creatives from every corner of the United States, and even Australia. Known for their stellar interviews and reviews, Mic Drop has been invited to cover 40 festivals and counting. Our work traverses all realms of digital media from articles to videos, to photography. Her work in Hollywood has crossed several realms from red carpet hosting to commercial print modeling, even a stint as a booking agent in the music industry. Her skill in technical writing, modeling, and on camera presenting made the transition into content creation a breeze. Garnering a combined following of over 18K, an impressive 1.1M likes on TikTok, and 2.1M views in the last 60 days alone. O'Connor makes her content both professional and authentic with ease. I have over 6 years of experience running a popular music blog. The blog has now expanded to include a video podcast, that I am the host of, that films in Hollywood! I have an extensive network of industry contacts and run a site that is inclusive of all genres, so I have the audience for anyone.
