Think of this as one of the 6Music Recommends shows but by the sea. Here's A New Tune is a weekly radio show on the longest serving internet radio station in the UK which also gets broadcast in Brighton, Norwich and Portsmouth. The show is varied and there's a feature on a band each week which includes an interview. We have a strong listenership which ranges from our home in Brighton (UK) to all over the world. Like the station, totallyradio, we tend to stay clear of the mainstream, focusing on the alternative and more weird and wonderful (not to say we don't love a pop hook). Live Wednesday's at 14:30, repeated Thursday's at 23:00. A radio play/premier on Here's A New Tune, aired on totallyradio - episode's being broadcast weekly on Wednesdaus at 14:30am - 15:30pm, repeated on Thursday's at 11:00pm - 12:00am. The presenter will give information on the act (how to follow/any gig's/what's for sale/etc...) and can potentially be the episodes featured act where there is an interview as well as having their track played on the following show as the opening tune. Each episode is also archived and shared on social media's tagging the acts
