Bio
I'm a record producer based in Brooklyn, New York, where I own and operate a recording studio called Juniper Sound. My work has been featured in Billboard, Atwood Magazine, Audiofemme, When The Horn Blows, and Alfitude to name a few. I also have a band called Border House.
I grew up in Rockville, Maryland, and attended Oberlin College and Conservatory in Ohio, where I studied in the technology in music and related arts (TIMARA) program under composer and pianist Aurie Hsu, with a focus on sound installations and mixing; I have bachelor's degrees in electronic music and biochemistry.
Along with production, I have toured as a FOH engineer and have also done a lot of work in podcasts; I previously scored, sound designed, engineered, and mixed Business Casual. In the past, I have worked for the Aspen Institute (mixing/mastering), Vox.com (production, reporting, sound design), Disco Media (production, engineering, mixing), and WOBC-FM (production).
Aside from my work with recordings, you can usually find me constructing crossword puzzles or watching whatever soccer match is on.
