Our mission is to keep the raw energy, attitude, and spirit of rock alive by showcasing original music from original bands that embody the essence of classic ‘80s rock. We’re not here to copy the past, we’re here to revive its soul with fresh, new music that carries the same fire, passion, and personality that made rock radio legendary.
Do you remember what it was like to turn on the radio in the ‘80s and hearing an awesome tune for the first time and just diggin' it, and couldn't wait to hear it again? That’s the essence of BANNED RADIO. We believe in live rock radio with personality, where music has an identity, and every song played is a real moment, and not just a stream. Guitar solos belong in music. Rock belongs on the airwaves. And we’re here to make sure that spirit never fades.
