More on the Floor is an electronic music and clothing label founded in San Francisco, California, founded in 2022, and now operating just across the bay in Oakland. We focus on forward-thinking, underground electronic music made for the clubs, but will divert from this for the right tracks. We're big fans of UKG, breaks, house, techno, juke/footwork, hardgroove, jersey club, and similar sub-genres. We love inventive approaches to production and prefer authenticity over following current trends. We are a somewhat young label, with just a few releases out so far, but have already had some Beatport features and staff picks. We take our time to curate the releases on the label, as opposed to trying put out as many as possible. We value artistry over popularity. Our main concern isn't social media followings, but the quality of the music. If we receive tracks that we like and aren't yet signed or shared publicly, we'd be very open to signing them as releases under our label. Our label manager is also a producer and is happy to discuss and give feedback on tracks from a more technical side as well as just reviewing the track. If we like the tracks but they aren't something we can sign, we'd also be happy to share them, because we really believe in supporting artists.
