Nieuwste Hits is an online music platform focused on NEW RELEASES, discovery and relevance. We cover music that just dropped, with a strong focus on singles and albums released within the last two weeks. Timing matters to us. The closer to ...release, the better.
IMPORTANT: Please only send us unreleased music!
Our core coverage is built around pop, indie and rock, with a strong secondary focus on jazz, funk and soul. In addition, we regularly feature hip hop, electronic and metal, as long as the release feels current and relevant within today’s music landscape.
We publish in Dutch and reach a mainly Dutch audience, making us especially valuable for artists looking to build or grow their presence in the Netherlands.
We publish new content on a daily basis, allowing us to move quickly around releases and give artists exposure while their music is still fresh. Every article is written in our own voice, turning a release into a story rather than simply reposting a press release. Depending on the track or album, this can result in a news-style article or a more opinion-driven review that adds context and highlights what makes the music stand out.
Our content is optimized for search, which helps releases get discovered not only around the release moment, but also over time through Google. In addition, selected articles are shared across our social channels, extending the reach beyond the website itself.
We combine submissions from artists, labels and management with our own daily discovery, ensuring that each feature is part of a curated and credible selection of new music. Recurring formats such as our weekly highlights for tracks and albums create additional visibility moments throughout the week.
Our website reaches around 8,000 monthly views, supported by a consistent flow of new content and returning visitors.
Nieuwste Hits is built for artists who want to be discovered at the right moment, with both speed and substance.
