I have a passion for composing and discovering original piano music that creates a sense of wonder. Currently my Spotify playlist, Elegant Solo Piano, has an average of 150-200 monthly listeners per song. I am NOT into minimalism. I know what it's like to pitch my music to playlists, so I commend you on your bravery! Please read these guidelines: 1) This playlist features solo piano ONLY. Tracks on this list bridge classical, jazz and contemporary stylings and feature a strong melody. No tracks with other instrumentation or ambient sounds accepted (for example, felted, electronic sounds, pad strings). If a song sounds too mechanical or like it has been quantized, I won’t add it. 2) Also, it is unlikely that I’ll add a song that is longer than five minutes, so that each song gets more play time. 3) Please listen to some of the playlist before submitting to get a feel for the style. 4) Although I do consider some purely classical music, it tends to be pieces that are more subdued, sparse and pastoral. I hope to get the opportunity to feature your unique compositions! I will continue to grow this playlist using promotional ad campaigns and networking, so each track I accept will benefit from that! The playlist will typically stay under/around four hours (or 80-90 tracks), ensuring each song gets more play time than in a longer playlist. Accepted tracks will remain in the playlist for a designated length of time - at a minimum one month - the more I like it and it fits the playlist style, the longer it will stay! Once again, please listen to a few songs on the playlist before submitting. Songs will be added to the top 25.
