Bio and how they support artists

UpToHear is an indie music blog that caters to indie folk, indie rock, dream pop, and a bit of psych and soul. We typically do not approve songs that are more than one week old. Be sure to include a bio and photos, not simply a release date and track art. Our blog is listed on Hype Machine, so we try to share your music via Bandcamp or Soundcloud links, in addition to Spotify, Apple, etc. By doing so, Hype Machine has better control over indexing any of the music that we post, which ultimately means more exposure for you. If you are unsure whether or not your music is a good fit for us, please check out some of our recent shares to get a better understanding of our tastes. When we find music that deeply resonates with us, we review it on our website and share it on social media.
