We are the only jazz radio station in Spain, a multimedia platform where music is not only heard but also seen. Here, we create exclusive, high-quality content with a different vision from other jazz stations around the world. We’ve invented what we call "Sonido Callao", a concept that goes beyond traditional jazz. What is “Sonido Callao”? It’s a place where jazz is just the beginning—a kind of radio that challenges conventions, the Anti-Radio. We love hosting shows, playing live music, telling stories, spinning records, curating playlists… but always with the goal of having fun, in a unique and iconic spot: right in the heart of Madrid. Our approach is Jazz-Anti-Jazz. A simple question: What is jazz? And the answer is also simple: jazz is everything! It’s mixing, improvising, chaos, innovation, proposing, connecting, and most of all, enjoying. It’s the origin of everything. We’re especially interested in listeners who might not usually listen to jazz, who don’t know it, or have never seen it from a different perspective. We want them to discover jazz from a less dogmatic, more open, and more human point of view. Because here, jazz isn’t just music—it’s a way of understanding the world.
