ML1 Records is one of the fastest growing independent record labels in the United States. And we do it by signing only the most talented singers, songwriters, producers and musicians in the world. Brilliantly crafted songs no matter the genre. Here, it's about putting out great quality music. If you think you have the next big Top 40 hit, an insanely catchy song or a track with an amazing music video - send it our way! We prefer receiving songs that are UNRELEASED because generally we cannot work with a song that has already been released or distributed. However if you're sending us an already released song just to get feedback or see if our label would be interested in a future release, that is completely fine. The founder of ML1 Records is Joseph Karre. Karre's debut album "The Experiment" reached #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Albums chart. The record also peaked at #62 on Billboard Top Current Albums and #82 on Billboard Top Albums. Karre also co-wrote the single “Lost Children” with 5x GRAMMY-winner CeeLo Green and Sam Trocki. The track peaked at #48 on the United Kingdom Official Charts. The songwriting/publishing division of ML1 Records has acquired numerous songs with legendary artists including Elton John, Kanye West, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kid Cudi, John Legend and many others. ML1 Records also holds a partial ownership stake in Hipgnosis Songs Fund - one of the most culturally significant music catalogs in history. Our investment in the fund enables ML1 Records to receive payments derived from Hipgnosis' extensive catalog, which includes 3,854 songs that have reached #1 on music charts around the world and 160 GRAMMY-winning tracks. The reason our label releases are so successful is because we don't work with a large amount of artists, but instead focus our attention on just a select few very talented artists and releases. We have extremely high standards for not only the music quality but also the artist/band quality. This does not mean we look for a lot of views/plays/streams - we simply look for professional-level music and musicians that have long-term potential. If you submit to our label that there is a high chance your submission won't be accepted, however we can promise that we will listen to your song (all the way through, not just 30 seconds) and give you solid feedback. On every submission we do our best to check out all your social media, music videos, articles, etc and give you suggestions that can hopefully help your career moving forward.

Our label strives to help new bands and artists by offering support that grows as your career does! We have a dedicated in-house team that provides everything from distribution/marketing to sync placements and much more. ML1 Records has also worked with many established musicians that left major record labels to sign with us. We mainly focus on single releases. We don't sell services to artists we sign, everything is provided at no cost to the artist. Typical deal is a profit-share where the artist makes more than our label does.
